how to hide path name from title bar kde fedora

Hi-

in my konsole i fixed .bashrc to change prompt and changed the title in my konsole window.

how to I keep the path from showing in the buttton in the system tray when dolphin is minimized.

I am trying not to broadcast my username which is my home account name when I take a screenshot. the problem is it is on all those dolphin buttons and I know I will forget to fix the screen and post a screenshot.

I have seen users go to some length to hide that stuff. I noticed krusader does not have the path in the title bar but I don't know how to make it default. besides, I like konqueror anyway.

i noticed there are application settings and then window specific settings. I killed the border once but the path showed in a button in the system tray.

please assist!
thanks

Hi-

Check out this window matching and hiding the app from the taskbar. That is too cool. That is a big help.. It is in the taskbar that I usually forget that my username is showing.

thanks!

HI-

I didn't hide the title bar... oops that was my original question. It isn't that important if it doesn't get answered. I like just being able to hide the status bar button text.
Another question is what is an easy way to hide your user name in the konsole when you are doing screenshots?

thanks!

Edit the picture and blur out the user name, along with any other revealing information you wish to keep secret. Simple answer, easy fix.

Hi-

In the same settings you can force to hide info from the taskbar there is a tab with a setting to hide the title bar according to regex or exact match. Thanks mralk3! I will have to try that out.

thanks everyone,
