How to entry graph interface when start compter


now: after start was in character interface
Have done:
1.changed /usr/share/application/default.list audio and video delet tetom.desktop.
2.changed input about:config in firefox's address clumn created network.protocol-handler.app.mms character is /usr/bin/mplayer
3.installed Eva QQ a chat software like MSN

after "who -r" display runlevel is 5.
/etc/inittab initdefault is 5

How can entry graphic interface when start compter? My OS is Centos 5.0

Is 5 the right runlevel for a graphical login manager for Centos?
A look at /etc/inittab should tell you this.

Do you have a graphical login manager installed? (kdm or gdm)

yes, 5 is the right runlevel for graphical login manager.
I have installed gnome and kde .
Now ,after login input 'startx' can startup gnome graphical login manager.
