How to display keyboard layouts in KDE

I have gb, us, ca, and dvo keyboard layouts setup in KDE. I would like to see on screen the characters for each layer of these keyboard layouts.

I googled a bit, and found a site that displayed keyboard layouts, but the layouts were different, and didn't match up with my keyboard.

It's a standard UK qwerty keyboard.

Is there any correlation between the KDE keyboard layouts, and the x ones? I saw that you could print out onscreen x keyboard layouts, but am not sure of the syntax, or even if the x keyboard layouts have anything to do with the KDE ones.

Any help greatly apreciated.

Nigel. aka farpoint.
