How to configure mouse emulation in KDE4?

Hello,

I'm running KDE4 (on a Fedora 10 machine), and I'm wondering if there is a way to configure the mouse speed when using the keyboard mouse emulation. After pressing Shift+NumLock, when I use the arrow keys to move the mouse, it will briefly move fast, then slow down shortly after that so that it would take about 30 seconds to get the mouse across the width of the screen. It seems to me that it should be the reverse (starts slow, then goes faster), so maybe this is a bug?

M.

Edit: I've determined this is due to a conflict with the keyboard repeat setting. If I disable the option 'Enable keyboard repeat' in System Settings -> Keyboard & Mouse, then the mouse emulation works fine. Does anyone know of a fix/workaround for this?
