How get working 'window decoration' downloaded from KDE-look.org?

Downloaded this *.tar.gz file from kde-look.org, it was a 'window decoration', http://www.kde-look.org/content/show...content=117043, it contained:

Dust1.7c~emerald│ 151906│Dec 22 11:11 │
│ Glass Du~emerald│ 237262│Feb 5 08:23

I.e. it does not require configure, make, make install type stuff. I assume it just needs to be put in the correct ~/.kde/ directory??

Which directory it go in? KDE4.

If you are using 'Emerald' you can import the window decoration via its import function.

Thanks. It would be nice if KDE had really aggressive stuff like enlightenment 16. As it is it all looks like a mac. This seems odd and depressing.

hi,
well i am not sure of your distro but you can make any window manager just about "look" like a snow leopard or what ever. for example: xfce4>fusion-icon>emerald for the decorations>then you can get what you want from inside the app itself like emerald will let you pull from a wide range of themes. if you want things to look like a mac also look into Avant Window Manager. its for gnome but you can run it inside xfce or kde as well which will give you the little 3d launcher at the bottom of your screen with all the 3d icons that spin and light up like christmas. anyways...good luck. oh yeah, if you cant seem to get um installed let me know and maybe i can help ya out. however, if your running something like debian or ubuntu(shivers) or fedora its really straight forward once you get something like rpmfusion or livina enabled in apt or yum.

EDIT: i just noticed you have more post than god and that your trying to use a tar...maybe your running slack or something. but yeah awn+fusio-icon+emerald=mac like or even better once you get into the confs of the emerald themes. 8))
