well i been looking throught google to find info for my to be able to download vlc on fedora core 7 but i did not find info so please can some one help me get VLC player in fedora core 7 is a very simple way or any way

You should be able to double click it to launch your package manager, you can then use that to install it. If your package manager doesn't appear, start up your console, cd to where you have saved your download, start a root session, then type: rpm -ivh <full package name>.rpm then press enter. Once installation has completed type: exit to leave root mode.
