Hiding child windows of an application (maya) from the task bar
Hi Linux Hive Mind !
Can anyone help me with avoiding multiple child windows emerging from one application to over-crowd the task bar ?
I run a software called Maya and for certain tools and interfaces, it pops out a box or a window and each of those appear on the task bar like a new separate application.
In all versions of Microsoft Windows, these floating windows are a part of the parent application window and don't keep populating on the task bar.
I remember there was a fix for this given by a tech friend of mine, that had a few lines to be inserted in the ".cshrc file " but can't find it now.
Any help on this please ?
