I am using software suspend 2 version 2.2.8 and have been happy with it. While upgrading my laptop from Debian Sarge (stable) to Etch (testing), I have noticed that hibernate (suspend to disk) would run by itself after about 20 minutes of idle system.
So far, I could not find out where this is configured. KDE has no settings set for it and I don't know where to configure it in gnome. Is there another config file that is responsible for this behaviour?
The log unfortunately does not say why suspend is triggered.
Nope, it is not the BIOS, that for sure, because THAT did not work ever, so I switched it off.
and of course I checked the /etc/hibernate.conf, obviously that is the first place on must look.
