Help with the right keys
Hello I am on ubuntu kde 4.2. Is there a key short-cut to enter symbols like Ω and μ(pasted in). For instance in windows one can hold the alt key and on the number pad enter the numbers then let go and it will print the letter of the asci code. An example is 168 for the upside down question mark. Dose anyone know how to do this with linux ?

I don't use gnome (which is what you're using I guess) but I would think that you have a control centre with configurations for keyboard layout and you should be able to set things the way you want them. I can't be more specific because, as I said, I don't use gnome but I'm sure an experienced gnome-user will set you straight.

You can add "Greece" layout to your keyboard using keyboard settings. And then type in all those characters after switching keyboard (generally both alt together).

As it says in the post I am using kde 4.2 -jdkaye

Where would I add a greece layout ? I have read about doing something with kde 3.5 but in 4.2 I cant find it or it was removed?
