Having trouble installing apt-get in Slackware 11

I have been looking at Debian's apt-get for a while now and I've decided I'd like to install it for program compatibility. The only problem I have is, that I cannot find it's source code. All the searches I do on the site lead to instruction on apt-get's usage, but now where to find the source package itself. Does anyone know where the source code for it may be?

Not sure how much use it will be since apt is a frontend for dpkg (who's source is here).

There's a link at the bottom for downloading the source in tar.gz format.

Apparently there's already some similar tools for slackware called Swaret and Slapt-get. But good luck!
