GUI interface to mplayer

Hi,
I downloaded mplayer from their official website.

I run it from the command line using the syntax.

mplayer file_name.

I get a small window in which the output of the video is shown.

I would like to know if I can get a gui-package that has built-in controls showing up for rewind, fast-forward, play, pause etc, and full screen functionality.

My distro is CentOS.

Regards,
Praveen.

Download and install mplayer-gui. This would give you the GUI that you want. After that you may stick with the default skin (nice enough) or download and install additional skins if you want.

But remember that you can also achieve this using the command-line version. For example F for full screen, space for pause.
Everything is in manual
