GTK3 theme: gtkrc-3.0 not working

I've got a pretty straightforward question, and I'm surprised that the few other places I saw this being asked, there was no reply;

How do I change the theme for gtk3 applications?

I have .gtkrc-3.0 hard-linked to .gtkrc-2.0.

GTK2 applications respect this, GTK3 ones don't.

I'm running Fedora 15 trunk BTW, and "gtk3-3.0.6-1.fc15.x86_64".

I noticed this uses gconf and gsettings, isn't there any way for gtk3 to read the .gtkrc-3.0 file?

Thanks, I'll get back to you when I try this.

The syntax for theming directives has changed significantly between GTK-2 and GTK-3. GTK-3 uses CSS-like directives. See /usr/share/themes/Adwaita/gtk-3.0 for an example. Currently Adwaita is the only GTK-3 enabled theme available on Fedora 15.
