GNOME with PCLinuxOS 2007?
 

I have heard that you can use GNOME in PCLinuxOS 2007 Test 1 and 2.

Is this true?
If so, how do you boot up in GNOME and choose it as your default environment?

So--in your earlier thread--you were advised not to use the test versions of PCLinuxOS. You never responded to people's help and advice in that thread and now here we are....

You can install Gnome on any Linux distro. In most cases, it would be available thru the package manager (Synaptic on PCLinuxOS).

But, why not just get a distro with Gnome? eg Ubuntu

Well, I haven't booted/installed from it yet.

I was just wondering. I actually went with KNOPPIX. So leave the insults for later.
