Gnome mount cdrom, kde not

Hello

I use Ubuntu for some time now, however I prefer kde.
So I found this tutorial on internet:http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/purekde
I removed gnome and installed kde.

This is what I would like to fix: When I put cd in cdrom I canīt see that cd on my desktop like in gnome, no popup window asks me what to do next.
Is there other way I can view contents of that cd?
perhaps install additional packets or commads in terminalz
Thanks in advance

You can create a mount CD icon on your KDE desktop. Right click on an empty spot on your KDE desktop. You should get a popup menu. (If you don't, let me know and I will tell you how to set up kcontrol so that you will get the popup menu when you right click on your desktop.)

In the popup menu click on Create New -> Link to Device -> CD-ROM device. You will get another popup menu called Properties for CDROM-Device.desktop - KDesktop. Fill out that menu and click on OK.

Whenever you click on your new desktop icon KDE will mount the CD-ROM and start kfmclient for you.
