gnome: desktop size compared to KDE and Win
 

Hi,

gnome seems to be "larger" in terms of it's icons, panels, font size, even at the same resolutions, comparted to KDE and windows. Is there anyway to change this?

Yes, you can change all those things in Gnome. Right click on the panel to change its properties. Check out the Theme Manager to manipulate other things. Change font sizes in Preferences --> Fonts. Snoop around... you'll find all kinds of things you can do with Gnome.
