gnome desklets and screenlets


Hi guys, i am using gnome 2.32. I have been on gnomelooks, and i see these things called desklets and screenlets. I would like to use some of them; how can i use these?

I could be completely out to lunch, but what I recall from my GNOME days...

For desklets --> http://www.gdesklets.de/
For screenlets --> http://www.screenlets.org/index.php/Home
