Gnome Can't Open .MPEG Files

Something happened on my Debian system as it no longer knows to use "Movie Player" AKA "Totem" to open all .wmv, .mpeg, .mpg, .avi, etc etc etc files.

When I try and open any media by clicking on the URL, Firefox has no clue what to do with it & I get this ERROR.

If I save it to my PC, I have to always tell Linux to use "Movie Player" to open the file with over and over for every file. What happened? Why did my system forget to use Movie / Totem Player?

Have you tried this.. right-click on the video file, properties, open with, select a player. If no player is listed, hit 'Add' and select an app or enter the path typically like '/usr/bin/totem'.
