Gnome - Auto Arrange (Clean Up By Name) on startup


Can't figure out the command/script to do this. Often, especially if there's media in the cd/dvd drive, the icons are jammed.

wouldn't mind being able to lock the desktop icons, as well.

are there any tools/webpages etc. that address these issues?
