Gnome 3: Edit Autostart Apps (the easy way)

1.Install alacarte (if not already installed)
2.open alacarte
3.Create a New Item in the System or wherever you prefer
4.make the Name" Autostart Editor" or name it whatever you like, set the icon to any icon you prefer or just use the default.
5.set the command = gnome-session-properties
6.Close Alacarte. Open your gnome menu or the Dash and run Autostart Editor (or whatever you named the menu entry).

Now you can easily find the Autostart Apps and edit them. Most people will prefer this method over the ~/.config/autostart/*.desktop editing.

Will come in handy since there isn't a default app to run this command already in gnome-shell or the application menu.

Hope this tip helps guys.

Why go into all these trouble?

If using gnome desktop, as title suggests, just type in a console:

gnome-session-properties

...to edit your startup desktop apps...
