Question Gnome's control center states wrong screen resolution setting

I am running Suse 10.1 with Gnome.
I have installed the latest nVidia driver.
My Sony GDM-F520 21" monitor is displaying 1280x1024 at 85Hz
according to the settings in Sax2 and the monitor internal settings panel.
When I check this in Gnome's Control Center, the displayed values are
1280x1024 at 50Hz which is definitely incorrect. Also the options for
changing the refreshment frequency are only 50, 56, 57 Hz,

How can I adjust this in Gnome?
