Glitchy Sound on Some Web Audio Sources

I'm using Fedora 14 and this happens in any web browser. It happens in Gnome and KDE. Certain sources of audio on the web have a constant pop and crack in the background. Local music and videos play just fine. And most audio off the web plays just fine as well. But some videos on youtube play glitchy and some play correctly. The audio previews on Amazon.com always have this glitch. I'd guess it's a codec issue, but then wouldn't the audio just not play?

Suggestions?

Thanks!
