gksudo can't work


There are two users in my debian8.1,one is root, the other is debian8.

I want to copy and paste file in /root directroy when to login into with account name debian8.

sudo gksudo -u debian8 pcmanfm

Now ,i can't still copy and paste the file in /root directory when logining into with the user 'debian8'?

do not use gksudo and sudo together. Use either sudo or gksudo!

This makes no sense. If you're trying to run pcmanfm as root, then use just "gksudo pcmanfm" or "sudo pcmanfm". Either can do the job, but you can't use both at the same time. And you don't need to use your username there.

on deb 8.1 i use "su -" to become root
it dose not look like you need to give SOME root permissions to a non root user THAT IS NOT YOU
