Hello together,

I'm running Arch and Gnome and use gdm as a display-manager.
When I boot into runlevel 5 and log into gdm, I always have a us-keyboard-layout. Changing the keyboard-layout to german (in the system-settings of gnome) persists only until next login.
When I start to runlevel 3, log in and do "startx", I have german-keyboard-layout.
Can anyone point me to the place, where I can configure gdm to use german-keyboard-layout as a default?
I'm using the same locales as in my Gentoo-installation where gdm starts gnome with german settings.

I'm using gnome (and gdm) for some weeks now and have not yet found everything.
