If this is the wrong forum,I do apologize.I am running debian/xfce on an old 32 bit machine.I have built Fluxbox up to a descent state and noticed there in no log out option.I have Googled this and came up with Fluxbox does'nt have this option.I messed around with Antix Linux
in the past which is built on(or around)Fluxbox and does have a menu option for log out,shutdown,suspend,etc... My question-Could I utilize
this in a standard build of Fluxbox?
As Fluxbox is a window manager and not a desktop environment, logout/reboot/shutdown capability is inherent to it. Depending on the distro you are using, you might be able to rig something up using gksu or a similar utility to execute reboot/logout/pm-suspend/shutdown commands with root authority.
This post at archbang.org might give you some ideas:
Use an image of your choice for the menu-icon or do not mention any icon. Use gksudo instead of the call to xterm, if you prefer... anyway, this should be quite obvious.

If you are using a display manager, the Fluxbox exit command should trigger a logout. If you are not using a DM, it simply exits X and puts you back to the command line.
