Question Fluxbox and PCManFM questions

I have some questions about fluxbox and PCManFM:

1. I want to add a shutdown button to right-click menu, so I dont have to shutdown system via shell. I did it like this in the .menu file:

[exec] (Exit){gksudo /etc/init.d/halt} <>
but nothing happens when trying to run this. What should be changed?

2. I'd like to get some little applet that shows battery status of my laptop, so I don't have to guess how long will it run..

3. How can I access network folders (eg samba shares) with PCManFM file manager?

Thanks in advance,

Hi skazhy,

1. This works on Slackware:

[exec] (Shutdown) {sudo /sbin/shutdown -h now}
Naturally I had to give the user sudo permission, but as far as I know about Ubuntu, this is not necessary.

2. On Slackware we have gkrellm

I am sure you can find it its package for Ubuntu. Other alternatives might exist.

3. Is your question on how to set up SAMBA shares client or how to install/enable pcmanfm on Fluxbox?
