Fedor 7 Bug?

Installed Fedora 7 on my laptop. Dual boot w/ Vista. Nine different partitions under Fedora:
/,/boot,/opt,/tmp,/usr,/usr/local,/var,swap,/home

Trying to update-ether freezes or does not find dependencies, RPMs don't work ether.

Does anybody had anything like that?

PS Media passed the check after burning, Kernel 2.6.01

How are you trying to update?
How are you trying to use the rpms?

(Quote from CLI)

Something this fundamental as a bug? Of course not: yathink nobody would have noticed? It's something you've done. If you think your partition scheme may have something to do with it... reinstall to a more sane scheme and see.
