Exclamation facing problem while install SRILM toolkit on linux machine(i686)

when i run the command i faced this problem

Jahnavi:~/srilm # make World
./ error: CPU you selected does not support x86-64 instruction set
Entering directory `/root/srilm/misc/src'
/usr/local/gcc-3.4.3/gcc -mtune=pentium3 -Wreturn-type -Wimplicit -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -I. -I../../include -c -g -O3 -o ../obj/i686/option.o option.c

i made all changes which is to be required to install it
so can u help me in it.

I don't know what SRILM is, but from your error message, try "chmod a+x /usr/local/gcc-3.4.3/gcc" as root.

And please avoid running 'make' (except for 'make install') as root user.
