Everything is too small - Fedora 13
I have a laptop with a 1920x1200 monitor. Everything is too small. The fonts. The icons. The window title borders. How would I make everything bigger without adjusting the resolution?

you did not say if this is gnome ,kde, xfce , or what
it is different in each

Make the font size bigger. The way you do this is different for every desktop.

also if it is kde there might be the dpi glitch on boot

If *everything* is too small you probably have a wrong DPI, the cause for this could be either a misconfiguration or a bug in either your desktop or your X driver. To find your actual dpi you can use this command:

# xdpyinfo | grep -i dots

I'm sitting in front of a 1024-pixel monitor that's 12" wide. To give the same size pixels, a 1920-pixel monitor would have to be 22" wide and I doubt that your laptop is that big: that's why things look small.

I assume from your distros that you're using Gnome. Enter the Systems menu and choose Personal - Look and feel - Appearance. Then you can choose your fonts and font sizes, and make them as big as you like.
