Man, even my friend had severe problems in 2.6.23, he said it was very unstable. Try to switch back to 2.6.22 and see.

Don't you get options at the boot screen?

SOLUTION (fuse modules trouble)

Hello all,
maybe you already know this or maybe it's in other thread already, but just for sure as I didn't find that here:
you have to use the Fedora's fuse latest version, 2.7.0 (for both "fuse" and "fuse-libs").

The thing is that since kernel 2.6.23 (not sure, maybe earlier) the fuse-kmdl is not needed as it's incorporated with the kernel already. But for some reason, installing fuse 2.7.2 it requires the fuse-kmdl anyway (maybe the one in kernel is too old) and then here we have the conflict...

So steps:
Code:
yum erase -y fuse*
yum install fuse-2.7.0 fuse-libs-2.7.0
#this should NOT require additional packages
Code:
yum install ntfs-3g
#this should NOT require additional packages

Voila, here we go, we have no more complains...

CePal
