Dual Heads on CentOS 5.3
For some reason after configuring dual heads on CentOS 5.3, and restarting X, it just goes to black and X can't start. I selected the right monitors, and the correct resolutions, but it won't start. I'm using Dell 1907FP monitors, and an nVidia Quadro FX 1400, VGA connection. Any input?

is there anything coming up in the logs or errors when you attempt to start? Does it hard lock the machine or can you kill the process? Can you toggle num/caps lock?
|
Yeah it's saying something like "Requested entity already in use." and "No matching device section for BusID PCI:1:0:0" and "More than one matching device section for BusID PCI:1:0:0". I also see an error saying "Fatal IO error 104, connection to X server reset by peer."

please update to the current CentOS 5.4 ( 5.5 will be out very soon.)

Just did that, no changes.
