Downloading Fedora Extras/Livina and installing them to another system Fedora 6

Is it possible to download a crapload of the Fedora Extras or Livina packages and burn them to a DVD then take them to another Fedora that doesn't have network access? Then using either yum or the graphical sofware add thing (didn't jot down the name) that comes with FC6/Gnome? (Applications -> Add/Remove Software)

From FC6 to FC6, I would assume yes. The package manager can typically be set use the CD or DVD as a source.
Why not try it?

Well whenever I open the package manager it shuts down because I don't have network access. Is there a config file I can change to fix that?
