Wouldn't it be great IF you actually knew at least half of what you want people to think you know? YOU have not provided any solutions here!
...aside from handing you solutions you ignore until you 'find' them? You're right..nothing at all. Not explaining why you're having problems (which you don't understand), or anything else. Right.

You just come here to bitch...guess that's the only way you can supplement your inferiority. Do both of us a favor...keep out of any of my threads. I don't know if there's a way to block you, but if there's is I'll do it.
Appears that you're the only one doing that.

YOU did not give me any info about mkusb...you just used a link where it was already posted...nice try but no cookie.
So handing you a link with instructions (which you couldn't apparently look up yourself, even though it was VERY easy to find), isn't helping you. But you 'finding' essentially the same thing is a godsend?? Regardless of how you split hairs, you were given information telling you to use mkusb, period.

YOU did not offer any assistance in adding persistence to a live LM19.1X. YOU did refer to someone else's reply as if YOU said it...no cookie for that either. You just haven't helped in any way, no matter what you want to say. GO AWAY....far, far away...OH, in case you haven't figured it out, there's a damn good reason I never checked your reply "Did You Find This Post Helpful"...it's because it never was!!!
Doesn't matter what you click or not. Again, since you're having problems with basic understanding (since you've now been working on this 'arduous' project for MORE THAN A YEAR):
Boot to the Mint installer
Install to a USB drive (note for the learning challenged: this would be a DIFFERENT USB drive). The installer will let you partition/format it.
Reboot from NEW installed image. You're done
Alternative: mkusb, which does essentially the same thing
You've ignored ALL of this from multiple people, so quit whining. What you want to do isn't a good idea, so complaining that "It's slow!!" garners nothing but "No kidding.." from everyone who reads this.
Whine and moan all you want; you aren't paying attention or understanding what you're told. Been going on a LONG time now, so I think the kind of help you need won't be found on a forum.

i might not always agree 100% with TB0ne's posts, but there's usually some merit in them, something for OP to consider.
in other words: quite a few people here on LQ probably think the same way as TB0ne, but are just too lazy to write it; esp. since your reaction to any sort of critique is kind of predictable.
you, rixter69, are just playing the outrage game.
and I have seen you (or in any case some other rixter69) doing it on a few forums, and it's always the same: "You just come here to bitch ...guess that's the only way you can supplement your inferiority." - to quote that back at you.
anybody who asks you to put in some effort yourself is guaranteed to be condemned.
you are demanding customer service for something you didn't pay for.
now please add me, too, to your ignore list. goodbye.

From 2018. Where the thread contained a step by step how-to guide, and OTHER methods of doing exactly what 69rixter wants..INCLUDING MKUSB, which was mentioned in 2017 (page one of that thread). Guess none of the many methods that are documented, with guides, and others saying "Yep, this works fine", are good enough for him. I think you're right, he's just wanting to whine.
