Desktop icon customization

After some 'help' from our resident 13 yr old, the 4 desktop permanent icon labels have been 'customized' to text that I do not want to keep.

But how to edit these labels?

This should not be difficult, but I can't find it!

Also, after putting things right, I want to lock the desktop against further vandalism. The only way I know is Pessulus and this seems very limited.

Can anyone advise?

Don't auto-login.
Change your password.
Give the resident his own account.

There are too many casual users to make this practical.

Lockdown seems essential.

use the guest account for all "casual" users?
