Desktop File manager crash

Hi everyone,

DFM or Desktop File Manager http://www.kaisersite.de/dfm/ seems to be the right file manager for me. There's no problem with compiling the code or starting the program, but after about a minute from starting DFM stops working and the CPU is on 100%.

Does anyone have a solution?

I'm running Slackware 13.0 and JWM window manager.

Thanks in advance for help!

Maybe file a bug report directly to the developer? The email link is at the bottom of the page you linked.

Anyway, if it stops working (i.e. sits there silently) but consumes 100% of your CPU horsepower, it's not crashing. A crash would stop the program from running.

I've debugged the program:

It's not perfectly stable, but for me it's stable enough .
