Connection Refused in Standalone Desktop
 

Hello,
Is there any one who can solve the problem as given below -
I have a standalone Linux Ubuntu 12.04 LST OS installed machine. A software running as local host in Web browser (Firefox) is showing a message "connection refused" with nothing to display in browser.

What "software" is this exactly? Are you logged into a network and have access to the internet? If so, are you able to browse the web normally?
