compiz - desktop cube and dragging windows between desktops

Greetings!

I recently installed compiz (the most current version packaged for debian lenny), and it works perfectly, as far as I've configured it properly. Believe me, I've got very, very few complaints. Only one, actually...

The "Desktop Wall" plugin allows you to drag windows between viewports similar to the way kWin can. However, when you enable the Desktop Cube plugin (which for me is cool enough that I don't want to give it up:D), the Desktop Wall plugin needs to be disabled, and vice versa.

Is there some way to both have the desktop cube, and drag windows between viewports?

Being that I use Ubuntu, I use the CompizConfig Settings Manager (ccsm I believe..)

For me, I enable the "Rotate Cube" option, and then in the settings for that, I have "Edge Flip Pointer" and "Edge Flip Move" and "Edge Flip DnD" checked.

If you have ccsm, give that a shot.

Debian's packages do come with the configuration manager (thankfully. It would be a very big pain to configure compiz without it).

I never would have guessed in my wildest dreams that flipping between desktops like that would be in the rotate cube settings... but in hindsight, it makes some sense.

As a side note, it works perfectly with my trackball, because it moves the cursor to the previous edge of the next viewpane (or next edge of the previous viewpane?).

Thanks for the help!
