Check KDE Desktop

Hello,

I have Redhat Linux Enterprise ES 4.0 installed and I am not sure whether I had install KDE desktop. It is now running GNOME. How do I know if I had KDE installed?

A quick check is to type "which startkde" from the console. If it returns nothing, then KDE is not installed. Otherwise you should see something like /usr/bin/startkde.

You can also type "locate kde |grep bin". If you see a bunch of entries scroll by, then there is good chance KDE is installed.
