Changing window focus / cursor locked in window
I run an OpenGL game application, and the cursor remains locked inside that window when I change modes from full-screen to windowed (alt-enter).
I can't seem to do anything to switch to another window or desktop, or activate the app launcher menu. I'd like to know how to release the cursor from that window. |
If your desktop environment supports applicaton switching (usually via alt+tab) you should be able to toggle focus on another window, one that isn't grabbing the mouse.
I know this works for KDE (which i use). |
I'm using KDE as well, and that doesn't seem to work. All inputs are being handled by this window.
I'm wondering if I can set a workaround with a window rule or something, where a hotkey will interrupt it and release me to the desktop area without closing or minimizing the window itself. |
