Question cdrecord: drive does not support TAO recording


Hello All, I am trying to take a configuration backup on a DVD-R and it gives me following errors

1)cdrecord: drive does not support TAO recording
2)cdrecord: illegal write mode for this drive

can anyone help me what would be the easiest fix for this issue

Which program are you using? Are you trying to use cdrecord at the command line or are you using a GUI program like K3B?

Having you tried changing the settings to not use TAO?
