Cannot revert back to optimal resolution

Hey Gang,

I find this a rather peculiar problem. I was checking out the diferent resolutions supported, and I selected 1024x768 for kicks and giggles. I didn't like it, very stretched out. I tried going back to the old resolution, but it disappeared! I can't remember the exact resolution, but it was something 1368x768? Not sure, but that was the best resolution, any ideas on how I can get it back?

Thanks,

Brandon

Assuming you are using Fedora Core, you need to run system-config-display and reconfigure all aspects of your card from scratch.

What is the recommended resolution in the specs for your monitor?

Hey,

Sorry, I should have been more informative, but I was quite tired. I'm using Fedora 7. I changed it through the GUI, system-administration-display (Gnome). Is there a guide I can view onlineto reconfiguring the display? Thanks for your help guys.

Regards,

Brandon

Alright,

I guess I just needed some sleep. I was able to reconfigure via the GUI. I didn't need to research it, I just poked around and I got it. Thanks for the hint, redazz.

Regards,

Brandon
