can't switch to tty(1-6) from xfce
Hello, I can't find any help nor with google, the manuals or in this forum.
My Problem is when I want to switch to the ttys with ctrl+alt (F1 to F6) this is not working with xfce. When I boot my system and the gdm starts it is still working. Also when I choose gnome as WM I can switch. But If I'm in xfce WM the hotkeys do not work. Instead it switches the virtual desktops ctrl+F1-F4, even when I deactivate this it won't work. I use a debian unstable (2.16 homebrew kernel), xfce4 4.3.99, xorg 7.1.0-11 gdm 2.16.4-1 If you need more information feel free to post. Sorry for my poor English, but everyone is only that good as he deserves it.;-) Thanks so far, any reply is welcome. Dan |

Solution But it is not working for me. I edited the xorg.conf Section "ServerFlags" Option "HandleSpecialKeys" "always" EndSection Do I need this as a SubSection? Or is there another Solution? Rethinking Dan |
