Folks, some people perceive themselves as part of a tight-knit security community and open accounts just to necro-bump threads like these, solidarizing themselves with a perceived underdog.
Whoever is "new to Linux", wants to jump in at the deep end, and doesn't even realise that Kali always runs as root (or at least that's how it was a year ago) deserves a little bashing IMO.
