Browser disappears in Xfce

Hi All

In Xfce 4.8 Debian Wheezy, I bring iceweasel up. There is a tiny horizontal line in the upper right-hand corner of the browser window between the up arrow and the shrink window size button. When I click the horizontal line, the entire browser disappears and I can't find out how to bring it back or where it is. It seems in effect, to be doing the same job of the "X" button in the same area which quits the browser altogether. Am I missing something?

Also, I can't figure out how to customize desktop folder icons with my own icons (not the system emblems). Otherwise Xfce is great and I'm thinking of switching from Gnome 3, which is driving me a little nuts.

Thanks Much,
