Booting fonts/ fonts on a non gui session
Hi,
I am using Ubuntu 10.04, and sometimes I just need the boot window (ie. a no gui environment through Ctrl+Alt+F?.) My question is how to control the window fonts size? Thanks |
Frankly, I wasn't sure you could change the fonts in text mode. I always assumed they were fixed.
I was wrong. You SHOULD be able to change them, with "setfont": http://linuxcommand.org/man_pages/setfont8.html 'Hope that helps .. PSM |

setfont Uni2-Terminus12x6 Code:
Couldn't get a file descriptor referring to the console |
