Beryl Cube not working

Hi, I have the beryl settings set to use the cube effect but it isn't working. It was at some point but then it stopped. I think the beryl settings might be conflicting with the kde settings. Is there a way to turn off the kde desktop effects? I can't find an option like that in the kde control center. Might it not be an issue with kde? Everything else in beryl seems to be working.

Beryl has nothing to do with the cube, it is a Window Manager. Check your key bindings.
