You could also try one of the distributions listed below.

1. Debian with either Xfce or LXqt One caviot to debia is that you have to install it without the option for gnome support or it will really devour system resources.
2. Xubuntu
2. Zubuntu
$. Manjaro with either the Lxqt or Xfce versions. There is a way o to download the xfece or lxqt on their web site you just have to look for the link that either leads you to the download section for eiter the xfce spin or the lxqt spin.

What is Zubuntu Did you mean Xubuntu (480MiB RAM)
Or Kubuntu at 584MiB RAM at idle
