Akonadi not connecting to MySQL
I am running Mepis 8.0 re-mastered with KDE4.2.2, 64 bit version.

Apparently having problems getting Akonadi to connect with MySQL.
Discovered this problem while trying to set up KPilot to sync with Palm TX.

Both servers are running. The Akonadi Server Self Test produces the following log:
090419 10:13:34 InnoDB: Started; log sequence number 0 503646
090419 10:13:35 [Warning] Can't open and lock time zone table: Table 'mysql.time_zone_leap_second' doesn't exist trying to live without them
090419 10:13:35 [ERROR] Can't open and lock privilege tables: Table 'mysql.servers' doesn't exist
090419 10:13:35 [ERROR] Cannot open mysql.db
090419 10:13:35 [ERROR] Cannot open mysql.user
090419 10:13:35 [ERROR] Cannot open mysql.event
090419 10:13:35 [ERROR] Event Scheduler: An error occurred when initializing system tables.
090419 10:13:35 [Note] /usr/sbin/mysqld: ready for connections.
Version: '5.1.30-2-log' socket: '/home/wlz/.local/share/akonadi/db_misc/mysql.socket' port: 0 (Debian)

Tme MySQL tables exist and as best I can tell the paths are correct.

Any suggestions?
