Hello all, i am trying to install adesklets and have managed to work my way through dependancies issues and font issue.
finally i am stuck at this point. Im trying to install and test either SystemMonitor or Weatherforecaster. upon executing ./SystemMonitor --Nautilus i received the following error
adesklets command error - X connection or window missing
upon closer inspection i notice in my adesklets config.log file

dependencies on xlib. If it is not what you intended
please reconfigure. For this to work you do need first
to configure your Imlib2 incantation for not using
X Window itself.

i have browsed through this forum aswell as outhers and found only one instance and it mentioned something about xlib dependancies. can someone please help or point me in the right direction?
i am using suse 10.1 , gnome, xgl enabled.
