Question Add language to suse 11


Hi
Recently i have installed suse 11 on my system!
But i don't know how to add Farsi(Persian) language to it! Farsi or Persian is language of people in Iran!

I will be really pleasant if anybody can help me!

Run YasT -> software -> Software Management and search for "farsi". There are some packages there that may help.

Nope,
I did this but no package appeared!
Even I searched for "persian" but i got nothing found for language(except persian translator)

I got answer!
I used "Keyboard layout/KDE3" and got answer!
You only need to go to suse start menu and search Keyboard, then click on "Keyboard layout/KDE3", there u can find your country with language and flag

You can select your country and add it to list, now u can see language item in your task manager or tray(down right corner)!

in kde you can change lanuage by ctrl+shift+k

at first u must run konqueror 2.pressf9 3.select service that indicated by redflag then select setting from list finaly select regianal&accebility and select Keyboard layout as you got this and add iran(ir) by checked enable keyboard layout.

alternative way is type settings:/Accessibility/ in address bar in konqueror

why you are dont use parsix1.5 it is iranian distro and good for iranian users
i have it with suse11.0
