[partly SOLVED]Is it possible to configure the Gnome shell 'activitiess' expose behaviour?

Hello. I've begun trying out Gnome shell again. I've installed a few extensions that i hadn't used in my past 'gnome shell trials' and they make me feel much more at home. There is one thing i would really like to change though.
By default, when the cursor is pushed to the top right corner, an expose like feature is activated. In this expose state, it is possibile to reveal the applications menu by clicking a new button shown, labeled 'applications'. I have little use for the 'windows' expose feature, and would like it to show the 'applications' menu instead by default.
Does anyone know how to change this?

I found a useful extension that almost does what i want, over at:
https://bitbucket.org/mathematicalco...nsion/overview

Unfortunately i could only get the one witch completely removes the overview feature to work on Gnome 3.4 on Debian Wheezy, but it's working nicely, and will do for now.
